Advanced Climbing Anchors is intended to refine your anchor building
skills, and improve your application of concepts such as redundancy,
equalization, non-extension, direction of pull and addition of forces.
You will also venture into the complexities of anchor building for lead
climbing, including multi-directional anchors, and many more.
A high
Instructor-to-client ratio (usually a maximum of 4 clients) will help
maximize your learning potential. As an educationally-oriented
program, Wilderness Outings will provide you with detailed informational
handouts covering the concepts of protection placement and anchor systems
that will serve you well in the development of your technical climbing
skills.
